8 Simple Steps to Create Your Product So You Can Sell It Over and Over Again

1. Think of something you enjoy - what is your hobby? What do you do in your free time? What do you enjoy at work? Find something you like and can get excited about.

2. Determine what you know that most people don’t - since you have a subject you like, you probably know more about it than the average person. You read about it, you practice it, and you enjoy it. So what do you know about your subject that most people don’t?

3. Find out if it is information people would buy - would someone buy what you know? Here’s how you find out. Go to a search engine and type in your subject. Look at the top 10 results. Are people selling the same information you know? Then people will buy it.

4. Create a small ebook – just open up your favorite word processor and begin typing. Write what you know. Don’t worry about extra research. You can do that later. Just type. Put your knowledge on paper in an easy-to-read format.

5. Get your own website or blog - getting your own website or blog is so easy today. You can host your own website for about $10 a month. There are even free templates you can copy to give your website a professional feel. Want a blog? Get a free blog from Blogger or WordPress. It takes only 5 – 10 minutes to get started.

6. Write about your subject - don’t give away all the information in your ebook, but give enough to make people want to learn more.

7. Build a list - when someone goes to your website or blog, tell them you will send them your free ebook in exchange for their name and email address. A good conversion rate is around 30%. 30% of the people that visit should give their name and email address.

8. Sell your product – now that they are on your list, you can promote your product. Don’t have a product? Create another ebook. Make an audio or video series of you talking about your subject. People will pay money to learn what they want to know.
